Am I pregnant or is it a faulty test?

Hi,

I'm reaching out to see if I could be pregnant. My period is often a little unpredictable and I've done 4 tests over the last 2 days. 2 came back negative and 2 had very very faint lines. For reference I had a faint line positive yesterday, then another this morning, then I did a digital test which Said 'not pregnant'

I had a bit of cramping and light spotting yesterday so assumed it's my period but then it's completely stopped.

Is this possible early pregnancy or a chemical pregnancy or even something else..I'm so confused! Photos attached. X

if you really won’t, or the gp won’t, get some cheap tests and keep testing over the coming days in the morning with your first wee of the day :)

I wouldn’t say any of those are positive OP, those tests are known for evap lines and I’d say all of those look like evap’s x

Digital tests need a higher HCG to pick up than the dye tests so often they would be negative for a few days after a positive dye test. However clearblue blue dye are horror for evap lines.

Get a pibk dye and test with first morning urine.

Cramping and spotting can be signs of implantation.

Ahh ok that might be the case then... I never even knew that was a thing, guess I'll hang fire for my period!

Oh no I'm sorry. I didn't even know about the Evap lines. With my first pregnancy I got the digital and it was positive so all this is new to me. How crap to have people get their hopes up too! 😥

I wouldn't say it's conclusively evap? Definitely worth a try with a cheapo test with FMU in the morning.

I don’t think those are positives. Test again in a few days. Definitely do not go and ask for a blood test 🙄

I have just had the same experience 2 faint tests but a negative digital someone told me these are common with these tests and to try a pink dye one, hope you get the results you want
