I saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks, i am now 9 weeks and 2 days and i have had spotting today when peeing, i have just finished a week of vaginal pessaries for thrush and i had sex last night so could this be irritation or something worse? Thank you.

I had a bit of spotting, way more than this photo after having sex with my husband whilst pregnant. Everything was fine. The cervix is changing and can be more sensitive and bleed when knocked about. Just take it easy and try to control the strength of the ‘motion of the ocean’ so you don’t bash the cervix too much! As always, if in doubt go to your doctor, good luck with your pregnancy 🍀
