Anxiety and overthinking

Since being pregnant (9weeks now) I’ve had 2 migraines, losing some of vision, followed by headache and nausea.

i have health anxiety and before they started I felt really good and positive, but now It’s giving me slight anxiety again, like a niggle type feeling which is sad as anxiety started in my first pregnancy and it never really went away.

any tips on focusing on the present and not worrying and overthinking? Sometimes I just need a different mindset.

The hormonal change in pregnancy is brutal. It changes our body & mind in ways that are shockingly amazing. All your symptoms seem normal, migraines seem a bit extreme but unfortunately normal. Some people get severe sickness, others migraines. Have you been checked to rule out any other possibilities? I keep a blood pressure machine at home and took my pressure morning & evening every day because they told me I was predisposed to preeclampsia. This gave me less anxiety. Calmed my nerves for awhile.
Never be afraid to go to your Doctor with any queries, I think most pregnant ladies have been to a&e at least once during the pregnancy (I went 3 times and every time it was nothing!) they’re prepared for it. Try to relax, maybe indulge yourself in a bit of self pampering. Take some ‘you’ time to calm your nerves and hopefully you’ll feel better soon ❤️‍🩹💞

I used a lot of Spotify meditations to try and be more present / deep calming breaths etc. would recommend! Best of luck as I know how you feel but it’ll all be okay x
