Doubting the test now!

Me and my husband have been ttc for years now, we’ve been successful twice (or maybe 3 times) but sadly resulted in ectopic and a silent MC. So we were referred for IVF, FSH levels in June were fine and September FSH levels very high so not eligible for IVF using my own eggs. I’m 6 days late, took 2 tests both positive. But I’m even doubting it’s a real reading as high FSH can cause false positives?

Did you test because your period is late /and or due to symptoms?
Tentative congratulations, it must be torture seeing that result but terrified it isn’t true. I hope you can soon get a definite confirmation.

Thank you, because my period is 6 days late. Despite having high FSH and low AMH my periods are regular.

Oh this looks really good! It’s not just 1-2 weeks but 2-3weeks so like 4-5 weeks really, which lines up with your missed period date! They both look really strong positive tests, I’m really hoping 🤞🏻 that this is it for you both 💕 I’d be booking a private scan for about 2 weeks time to confirm. Tentative congratulations!

Thank you ☺️ I will be booking an early scan most definitely. I’m classed as high risk as I’m 36 now so hopefully if I am I will be closely monitored. I just wish I never googled about FSH and pregnancy tests. I’m such a worrier and I haven’t slept well in days over this 😭

Oh bless you, try to relax as much as you can. This is really out of your hands and will be what it will be, as hard as that is to accept. I had IVF at 35 and thankfully everything was fine. Fingers crossed for you 💕

I don't think 36 is considered high risk? I had my child at 37 and no-one mentioned my age, it's a pretty normal age to have a baby.
