Low hcg 17dpo

I’m 18dpo today and had beta hcg bloods taken yesterday, I just got the result back and it’s 151. I know it’s supposed to double every 48 hours but I don’t have another blood test form to retest. I won’t be able to get one in time from my GP.

I am certain of my ovulation date as I temp during my cycle, had my first positive which was a squinter at 9dpo.

Has anyone else started off with a low hcg at this dpo and all was ok? I’ve had 1 early miscarriage and 3 chemicals already so I’m worried this pregnancy will end the same way 😭 my recurrent pregnancy loss appointment is not until May 2026 so I have a long wait until investigations can begin

I don’t think it’s good news. I booked a private blood test for the 9th and those results were actually good, went up to 880, so a 29 hour doubling time.

But, if my hcg supposedly continued to rise like that, by today my hcg should be over 7000. And today I had 2-3 weeks on a clearblue weeks indicator, when I should have 3+. The sensitivity for 3+ is 2753. I’m 5+3 today. With my other miscarriage I had 1-2 instead of 3+ so I consider these tests accurate at determining viability.

I’m not feeling optimistic about this pregnancy being successful 😞

What's your update please x

Im sorry to hear that. I have the same. I was 5+2 yesterday and had a 2-3 weeks result.

For me they have been indicators of loss as the last two miscarriages mine didn't get above 2-3.

The previous week though I had 1-2 in the morning and 2-3 in the afternoon.

Ive heard clearble are unreliable but so far they have been indicators of a loss.

Im doing a hcg home test to give me some clarity as I would rather know.

@Lillybobs86 I had a scan last week on 16th at EPU where I was 5+5 and they saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, so all good so far. I have another scan on 31st so if all is well then should see a baby and heartbeat. They said if I get any bleeding at all then to contact them straight away and they will possibly give me a prescription for progesterone. I have had really bad nausea past few days as well so hoping that’s a good indicator as well.

@Irisrises sorry to hear you’re experiencing the same, have you done your hcg test now?
