We are on our second transfer and had an early scan at 6+1 which basically didn’t show much so we attended the EPU who found a ‘suspected’ yolk sac at 6+3 - we waited a week and had our follow up scan today at 7+3 and although our yolk sac has grown significantly, we still didn’t see a fetal pole or a heartbeat.
essentially this is what happened last time to us but it was further behind. Are we clutching at straws thinking this could catch up when it was an ivf transfer or is it an actual possibility?
medical staff can’t confirm and seem positive it’s grown but based on what happened last time, I’m struggling to be positive about the outcome. We are now 7+3 but measuring 5/6 weeks - they didn’t give us specific measurements.
