Pain, pink discharge, closed cervix 38 weeks

Had period cramps, back pain and had pink discharge, for a week now.... Went to get checked out and my cervix is closed and long.
All this pain for nothing 😭😭😭 really hoping I go into labour naturally before I'm induced for medical reasons, but not looking likely. I'm so upset, fed up and still in pain. These cramps feel so real😭
Anyone been through the same thing??

38 weeks, being induced at 39.

I had cramps for a couple of weeks leading up to my first membrane sweep at 39 weeks and was shocked when she told me my cervix was closed and posterior so I completely feel your pain!

The cramps will definitely be doing something so don’t lose hope. Many women go from closed to full blown labour in a matter of hours it’s just such a mind game isn’t it.
