Managing pregnancy sickness on xonvea

Hi there,
im on my 3rd HG pregnancy and taking xonvea. I took it before symptoms hit and have had very little vomiting which is amazing, however I am too tired to function and still nauseous. I could sleep round the clock I have no energy for anything. I have a job and 2 other kids to think of and I feel so guilty I’m just a shadow of myself.
has anyone had this experience on xonvea and tried something else which didn’t sap so much energy? Or should I just do it for the next couple of months and just be thankful I’m not being sick?

Why not try something else?

Im open to trying something else but im also scared because this is still ten times better than my other pregnancies so this drug is definitely working. That’s why I’d like to hear what has worked for others

I feel for you, it’s such a bloody struggle! I found the tiredness got better after about 7-10 days and I also halved the recommended dose, I only needed one tablet in the evening and that meant the nausea was manageable and I only vomited once in the morning.

If they do offer to put you on something different, personally, I found cyclizine and prochloperazine made me even more tired, and ondansetron gave me the worst constipation of my life! Good luck!

I took Xonvea at the highest dose (4 tablets a day) and didnt really feel that tired. My tiredness i put down to just being pregnancy related.
Depending on your dose, could you adjust it to only take the medications at the times needed most. So if youre sick first thing, then taking it in the evening and morning?

I didnt find any other drug worked for me and Xonvea was the best option personally. But everyone is different.
