Lines Progression Stalling After 16DPO

Hi ladies, I was hoping for some advice. We’ve been trying to conceive baby no. 2 for about 18 months. I finally got a positive test, and have been tracking my lines daily since (due to a history of early miscarriages). I test each morning with the same brand. Initially progression was good, but from 16dpo, the test has looked the same. With my last pregnancy I was getting dye stealers at this stage. I’m so worried something is wrong/ stopped developing. My doctor won’t take bloods, so I need to wait until 6 weeks for a scan. I know the tests can cause anxiety, but I’d rather be prepared for a bad outcome than have false hope.

Hey, I haven't personally used these tests but I've read so many things about line darkness/progression really not meaning much at all, unfortunately it's just a case of waiting the (endless feeling!) time until the scan.

Congratulations on the positive and good luck for the next few weeks until you can get the scan!

Every pregnancy is different.
And clearly this is causing you anxiety and not the "I'd rather know" feeling.
If you're spending that much on tests every day, would uou rather not save a couple of days and pay for a private scan or bloods? It's got much more of a definite behind than trying to interpret lines that can only show that you have hcg in your system.
From experience I know how hard those early days and wondering if you'll miscarry again
To help make you feel better, mine stalled at about 5 weeks, but never got darker than the control. In any of the 2 and a half successful pregnancies I've had (currently 35 weeks with sharp little feet)
Take a breath, try to extend your times between taking tests, and before you know it you'll be at your scan date x

How much darker are you expecting it to get? It can’t get any darker than that.

These actually look ok op. I had a chemical where the tests stopped progressing after 16 dpo and they got significantly lighter quite quickly. Yours look to be at least staying the same so that's a good sign. With this pregnancy I tested every day until 6 weeks (was very anxious after 2 chemicals) and some days the line did look the same as the day before, it was a very gradual darkening and I didn't get my dye stealer til 18 dpo. I'm currently 17 weeks with a baby girl 🩷 so I'm sure all is ok x

Meant to say, your 18 dpo actually looks like it's the beginning of a dye stealer!
