Headaches at 15 weeks pregnant

I have recently turned 15 weeks pregnant and have started getting horrible headaches causing ringing in the ears. It's also causing a sore stiff neck and shoulders. Yesterday I was sick for the first time in 3 weeks so I am presuming it was the headache that caused it. Anyone else get headaches entering 2nd trimester? I'm hoping this is normal but a few comments on social media have mentioned preeclampsia which is making me uneasy. I've taken my blood pressure which is normal and I don't haven any swelling or anything just a really sore head and nausea/vomiting. Trying my hardest not to take painkillers without trying home remedies first.

It possibly won’t work for you because your headaches sound pretty severe, but I’ve had very frequent tension-type headaches around my eyes and forehead in both my pregnancies. I have been using a 4head stick to manage them and although I was SO dubious about its effectiveness when it was recommended to me, it’s been brilliant and alleviated most of the headaches very quickly. You can apply it as frequently as you need, and anywhere. I apply it to back of my neck, shoulders and behind my ears when I have more significant headaches.

Really though, if you can’t find an alternative way of managing the pain please do take paracetamol- it won’t harm you or the baby and it’s not fair for you to suffer.
