I didn’t wait the full test time to know when this appear but my gut told me to go back to the bathroom bin this evening and I saw this on the test window

is it an Evap? Strong blue colour at very bottom of line. Hard to picture.

Period due today on a 26day cycle

Evap I'm afraid x

I can see a line there. What’s an evap? I should maybe know after having had 3 children

Apparently clear blue are very unreliable tests and often show up a line in positive test area once urine evaporates…. Supposed to be colourless but this line I have is definitely blue at beginning

Oh I see thank you. It could be evap line if it’s been a while although I never had any evap lines on any of my negative tests even after some time later, but that’s not to say this one isn’t.
Do you have another test you can do

Ciderapplevinegar · 02/10/2025 20:44

Clear blue evaps do tend to be blue, hence why they are extra unreliable. Evaporation lines tend to be thin and/or incomplete, like this one.

whattheysay · 02/10/2025 20:45

Was it positive or negative after you’d done the test? If it was negative then this has appeared much later then yes I would say it’s an evap line. But take another one and only take the reading straight after

no troubel… Have you used clear blue tests before yourself? I’ve never seen this on any test I’ve done and been TTC 11yrs now - but most definitely not a serial tester

We have been trying to conceive for 11yrs and so use to it being not good news I didn’t wait to see the result. I just chucked it then my gut told me to go back and look and I was surprised to even see this
