I can barely walk...seriously it took me about about half an hour to walk the ten minute walk home from my DD's nursery as my bump is just SO painful. It feels hot, tight and in a permanent stitch and with every step I was wincing and yelping a little under my breath. This pain started last night. I don't remember being like this with DD.

Just sitting still seems to hurt too and climbing the stairs I have to lay and let my head spin for a while.

I'm scared!!! Is labour iminent? Can't remember whether 2/5 engaged is a lot or a little and only read it in my notes after left MW so couldn't ask her.

Aww you poor thing. 2/5 means 2/5 of the head is palpable, so fully engaged would be 5/5.

Not that this helps you right now!

Not all that long to go now, hang on in there (and hope it shifts a bit and makes you more comfy).

I think with your second you do not really get fully engaged until you aer in full labour, so I would ignore the engaged but and give your midwife a call. Try being onyour all fours for a while might help the baby to move a bit.
