Worried about Beta

14 days past a 5 day double embryo transfer today. Beta test is tomorrow and I’m so worried. These are my tests, but the clear blue weeks indicator hasn’t changed from 1-2…

Not sure if I see much progression on the last few FRER’s so mentally preparing myself for a low hcg

These look great! Congratulations 🎉 HCG rises every 48+ hrs so testing every day is a bit pointless to measure the levels. If you look at the difference between day 8 & 12 and then day 12 & 14, there’s great progression! I’m not sure that the line is going to get much darker than it is already, even as HCG rises more they can only go so dark.
Are you hoping for both embryos to implant or just transferred two to up the chances of pregnancy?

I think I’m just overthinking, I’ve never had a positive test after 3 rounds of IVF and 4 transfers so I’m mad nervous!

I’ve heard the clear blue weeks indicator tests can be unreliable, so trying not to worry too much about progression on those

I transferred 2 as I had recurring implantation failure, so wanted to maximise my chances of success. I’d be happy with 1 or 2 of course, as long as they’re healthy!

Hi OP. Those lines look great!! Just to share that I also worried so, so much about FRER line progression. However it was all for nothing because my HCG was actually doubling every 48 hrs even though mt FRER looked exactly the same, I thought they were even fainter at some point! I also never got a dye stealer from FRER. I would also stay far away from CB with weeks indicator. They are not reliable at all in my personal experience. They only caused myself and husband a lot of worry again for nothing! Good luck with tomorrow’s HCG, keep us posted xx

Oh wishing you the best of luck for tomorrow, even though you don’t need it! The tests look really good, you’re pregnant! I know how hard it can be to actually let yourself believe that you’re pregnant after so much of a fight to get there. I’m guessing that in a couple of weeks they’ll schedule a scan to check progression and location of baby & placenta, maybe hear the heartbeat 💓 That’s when I started to relax and get excited realizing that it had worked finally! Let us know how you get on tomorrow x

UPDATE - Unfortunately my hcg came back at just 97, clinic said they would expect a min of 280 at this point. Need to do repeat bloods but it’s unlikely to be a viable pregnancy. So gutted

It’s quite unlikely I’m afraid, bloods were taken at 15dp5dt (20 dpo) and should have been a lot higher. Doing repeat bloods tomorrow and will find out results on Saturday, but my clinic aren’t hopeful. Still, praying for a miracle🤞

UPDATE 2 - beta rose to 221, which is good but still low so doing another repeat on Monday (20dp5dt). If it continues to double I’ll be booked for an ultrasound

Yeah it’s hard being in limbo for now…there’s like a tiny bit of hope that everything will work out but mostly just worry. Will update with Tuesdays results though!

UPDATE 3 - hcg rose to 532 (doubling time of 56 hours) so it’s slowing down. Clinic won’t do more bloods so I’m booked in for an ultrasound on 17/10 to see what’s happening

Have they any idea what it could be? Why it’s actually rising but not as fast as usual? How confusing for you 😢 I’m sorry you’re going through this 💕

I’m really not sure, could be a blighted ovum but won’t know until I go for an ultrasound. Unlikely to be ectopic because I have no pain or bleeding. Or if I’m really lucky it’s just a case of late implantation🤞
