Gastro resistant aspirin?

Hi all, 17 weeks pregnant and taking low dose aspirin since I found out due to previous losses. Consultant happy with this and added it to my prescription and I was getting them from the pharmacy with other meds I’m on. They were just plain dispersable aspirin.

I’ve stupidly ran out of the prescribed tablets, obviously I know aspirin is dirt cheap and I’m more than happy to buy it myself as I feel bad using the NHS for something that’s £1, but all the low dose I can find in shops is ‘Gastro resistant’ and says on the label to not take if pregnant. I have tons of these in that I could take. Is anyone else taking these when pregnant?

Boots do also sell 75mg dispersible tablets. You can order online, too. Also, walk into any pharmacy and they should have 75mg dispersible ready to buy. I’ve been taking this throughout.

No doctor or midwife ever said that the gastro resistant tablets were a problem. I've taken them through multiple pregnancies.

The normal dispersible tabs also advise seeking advice if pregnant..

I've been taking the gastro-resistant aspirin from Boots since I was 5w. I'm now 22w. Consultant didn't say anything other than up my dose to 150mg but that's because of my age. I thought all aspirin warned against use during pregnancy.

I took the Boots one you have posted the whole way through my pregnancy.

I took them too, consultant and midwife said it’s fine.
