I’ve been taking prochlorperazine for 2 weeks now since being hospitalised with hg. it really has seemed to work however I now have 0 pregnancy symptoms. I’ve already had a scan at 9 weeks approaching 12 now but can anyone else relate to this? My anxiety is through the roof with worry.

it can be quite normal to have a reduction is symptoms around the 10-12 week mark as the developing placenta takes over. Personally, I felt vile until 10 weeks and then woke up feeling completely normal. It was terrifying but I am currently being pestered by my 7 year old to watch him play his game.

Try not to worry too much.

Ive had 2 IVF pregnancies (so had additional monitoring from the get go) and was told not to worry about having symptoms/not having symptoms as everyone and every pregnancy is so different, so on that basis not having symptoms doesn't automatically mean anything bad has happend.

In my second pregnancy I had HG and was hospitalised twice during the first trimester. I was prescribed prochlorperazine and whilst it wasn't a magic cure (I still felt awful) it did stop the vomitting for me. My son was fine despite the concoction of drugs I took during the first trimester.

Good luck with the pregnancy and try to enjoy it. I miss being pregnant even though it was awful for a while.
