Lots of movement yesterday but very little today - 22 weeks

I have been feeling movements every day for the last 2 weeks and the movements are getting more frequent and stronger and particularly in the evening they are strong enough for me to see them from the outside.

Yesterday was probably the most active day yet and I felt movements pretty much every hour or so throughout the day.

Today I haven’t really felt anything! Maybe the odd flutter but I couldn’t be absolutely positive of it being baby and I’m feeling a little worried but not sure if I’m just being silly.

I’ve tried the cold sugary drink and lying on my side etc but nothing.

Is it normal for movement to suddenly drop off at a very active period?

I think if anything feels unusual to you, pop and get monitored. more than likely, baby has moved into a different position and you’re not picking up movements. But always best to get checked and some reassurance.

This happened to me when I was pregnant and I panicked. We went to A&E and as they started the ultrasound baby moved 🫣😂 typical. They said that babies can get tired, they’re growing and changing so fast and one day they’re full of beans and the next they need a ‘duvet day’
If in doubt go and get checked, always better safe than sorry 💕

Thank you both for replying. I’ve just had a few little nudges which has reassured me that it must just be a quiet day in there.

I promised myself I wouldn’t stress as much this pregnancy as I did with my first but here we are🫣

This happened to me last week at 21 weeks. I was worried but after reading on here that it can be very normal, baby is still small and may have just moved further back into me, the next day she was back wriggling as normal. Midwife said you won't really notice pattern until about 24w. I'm a FTM.
