Brown spotting 7dpo… anyone get this before their BFP?

Hi guys hoping for some positive stories 🙏🏼

As the title suggests, at what I believe was 7dpo I had some brown spotting, tmi but sort of brown tinged cm. I’m 10dpo today hence why I haven’t taken a test yet, I still think it’s early. Don’t know why but I just have “a feeling” 🙏🏼 However I am 40 and am aware that spotting could potentially be perimenopause.

just wondering if anyone else had this around 7dpo and ended up getting their bfp?

I had brown spotting very early which scarily turned red (subchronic hematoma) when I got my positive I was 42 years old and am here holding my almost 7 month old in my arms.
Wishing you all the best 🙏

@Rosequartzz exactly the same experience! I actually bled sporadically the whole way through my pregnancy (tmi it was brown/red/orange and pink at times) but was monitored closley and she's 14 now! Positive thoughts @Wingingitlife 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I had brown spotting the day before my (ivf transfer) test day and got a positive, continued to have brown/pink spotting until about week 8, with a burst of red bleeding at 7 weeks. It was a subchorionic haematoma, identified at a scan at 6 week, along with a baby with a heartbeat. I'm now 20 weeks, have had further haematoma bleeding but so far everything has been fine with the pregnancy.

I did have my progesterone increased when I had the spotting, so that could be something to check, NHS won't usually prescribe until after a 6 week scan but you could get it privately sooner
