Hi everyone

so I’m a little bit anxious after a chemical last month - I tested positive at 9dpo (very faint) and I’ve been testing daily since… I really want to stop but I am quite anxious about this pregnancy. Today I’m 12dpo and not sure if this line is too faint? I’m also quite crampy and my back feels abit sore - any tips on how to chill the hell out?!🫣

(the photo with my hand in is the test from this morning and the other is from yesterday - not sure if there is progression)

I think there is progression and it looks ok. Also i think that if it's not to be there's a good reason for that (usually the embryo is non viable) and there is nothing to be done. It's fate. I say this as a woman who took 5 years TTC, so i think i do know how much easier said than done it is. Try not to test every day.

This was mine at around 8/9 DPO.

i took a digital and that come up pregnant and i stopped. It can take over your life testing all the time.

Ive had 3 losses at 6 weeks prior to this pregnancy. Its not easy, but you have to take your mind away from it and relax a little. They will only go so far before it stops, they arent used for progression purposes. Theyre there to tell you whether you are pregnant or not.

Im my last pregnancies i was testing and it was causing me to be so anxious all the time and although they would get darker and i would get a 'dye stealer' i still went on to have 3 losses.

Your best thing now, is get in touch with your gp to book in for your midwife and let your body do what it needs to do rather than adding the extra stress and anxiety.

Im now 32 weeks pregnant and almost at the end! If you can try and get progesterone. You may have to go through private consultations to get it, but its worth it!

I'm going to disagree with previous posters and say if it makes you feel better keep testing! I had two chemicals before this pregnancy and I was a paranoid mess. Testing every day gave me that reassurance that the line was getting darker and if it hadn't I would have been prepared for a loss so felt in some way I was in a little bit of control. I stopped at around 5.5 weeks when I got 3+ on a digital and then the sickness kicked in! Good luck, hope all goes well
