Hi all I have exactly 2 weeks before my planned c section. Any suggestions on what to do with my time?! I’m fairly agile and feel OK but obviously reluctant to go too far from home. Obviously I also have some midwife apps and some bits to finish off re the baby nursery /
hospital bag but mostly it’s all done.
I’d love to hear suggestions or how you spent your last few weeks :-)
ps I will do a few meal preps for the freezer but I won’t go overboard as freezer already looking quite strong

Batch cook and freeze, will make life easier when baby arrives and you don't have to cook.

Or just do any jobs that need doing because it will be harder to when baby is here.

Or just chill out and enjoy yourself. I played videogames when I went overdue (and had no other children), helped pass the time.

I've got about 2 weeks until my due date too (not having a C-section though)

Also have a 3 year old. I'm surviving 😂

No energy to stock freezers. Think I've washed everything and have everything ready. Fingers crossed anyway!

Get your hair cut
Go to the cinema
Anything you fancy!

Enjoy doing things on your own, like weeing.

Sleep.

Do all the household jobs/decluttering/DIY you've told yourself you'll do while you're on mat leave. You won't.

Ditto reading books.

I cleaned all the windows - you probably don't need to do that, especially not climbing on chairs 🤦 It felt essential at the time!

I was still working
in fact I went into labour whilst at work!
I used to clean a school

I got my nails done, met friends for lunch, went for a walk, took myself out for coffee and cake, watched tv, wondered around the shops. Just enjoyed some time to myself

Solo cinema trips
Go to a cafe with a book and have a leisurely brunch
Go for a long dinner out with your other half
Lunch with a friend where you can just natter
Get a haircut
Nails done
Some pregnancy yoga classes
Make your bedroom all nice and cosy as you’ll be spending a lot of time in there soon! (We got a little tv to help me get through the night feeds)
Have a few baths

Enjoy the alone time and not being needed / needing to do anything else than look after you ❤️
