alot of misunderstandins on google surrounding pregnancy and ovulation so if you had sex 15 days before your ovulation day when egg is released, and 9 days before fertile window began surely this sperm cant survive that long? as reading online it says sperm only viable 5-7 days ? but then another thread said it could reach egg day like how 15 days before? confusing

Do you have a specific question or context?

No it can't survive that long in the female reproductive system.

If you ovulate, the egg is viable for a few days only, and the sperm can survive up to about 5 days. If you have sex 2 days before ovulation, then the sperm will still be able to fertilise the egg. If the sperm arrived after you ovulated then it still had a window to fertilise. When TTC it’s advisable to have sex every other day beginning 2 days before ovulation until 2 days after. That will give the odds the best chance. It’s hard to know exactly when the egg is released so it’s hard to know how to answer your question!

No, 15 days is too far in advance of ovulation, providing you know when ovulation occurred, of course.
