Hello,

Just hoping for some reassurance before I drive myself mad 🙈. I've had 3 previous miscarriages, 2 of these were missed miscarriages around 7/8 weeks. I also have a balanced robertsonian translocation so my chances of a successful pregnancy are significantly lower than normal.

Last Tuesday we had a scan showing baby at 9+0 weeks with a heartbeat. We're both so excited as have never got that far.

However, this morning I've woken up feeling completely normal like I'm not pregnant anymore. This happened with my missed miscarriages, where it just felt like the symptoms vanished overnight. I'd previously had sore boobs, felt nauseous and was just generally exhausted. I don't want to complain about feeling better but it's making me feel super anxious.

Is this normal coming up to the 10 week mark?!

Thank you :)

It's so hard when you've had previous losses not to compare and analyse every symptoms or lack of symptom. Every pregnancy is different and it is normal for symptoms to come and go, especially as the placenta begins to take over. I'm not going to tell you not to worry because from experience I know it won't work, you will worry all the way through....and then find new things to worry about once they are born (worry and guilt....sums up most of parenting) I am sending lots of good luck your way though and really hope that this is the pregnancy which sticks for you.

I think it's just impossible to tell unfortunately, as it can sometimes mean a miscarriage, and it can sometimes just be symptoms coming and going, and sometimes it's the placenta taking over.

You won't know until your next scan unfortunately. How long will that be?

I’d call your gp and ask for reassurance, otherwise this is going to go round and round in your head

Thank you all, my next scan isn't until my 12 weeks on 07/10. I'll give it until tomorrow in case some do come back this evening and then give them a call.

Thank you @WonderingWanda, it's so hard not to compare. As you said, it sounds like the anxiety never ends!
