Bleeding in third trimester

I’ll be adding some ‘too much information’ photos.

so for some context I’m 35 weeks pregnancy we had a growth scan this week where they said babies growth had slowed down so they’re scanning me in 2 weeks time.

I had a little bit of bleeding this morning, called triage and got monitored. All ok so was sent home. Blood again when I went to the toilet. Fresh blood and spotting then when I went to flush I noticed this colour in the toilet.

anyone else experienced this?

Go back and get checked again. Don’t take any chances.

Please go back again! If baby needs to be delivered soon you are almost at term.

You need to go back @Jojo1123
Any bleeding at this stage means you need to be monitored and you might need to be delivered early.
Please go back to triage.

On my way back, thank you so much

Came on to say the same as others - go back! It’s just not worth leaving it on the premise that it might be ok, but I can see from your update that you have gone back to triage which I’m relived about. Hope it all goes well OP and everything is ok

Tryingmum456 · 20/09/2025 23:51

Please update if you can OP. I hope all goes well

Jojo1123 · 21/09/2025 11:37

Thanks so much everyone.
got examined and monitored again and all ok. Sent off a test to see if I have an infection but I have no symptoms so I’m really confused!

no more blood since last night but I’m to go straight down if it happens again xx

Glad all is ok for now! You did the right thing going back

WokeMarxistPope · 21/09/2025 11:39

I had this (bleeding and growth restriction) and I had vasa previa. If you’re in again it might be worth asking if they’ve considered it and excluded it.

Tryingmum456 · 21/09/2025 23:26

So glad all is okay.
