I am currently going through my first cycle of IVF. I had the embryo transferred on Monday. I took a pregnancy test today.
The first picture is after 2 minutes, and I dont think I can see any line?
I then lay in bed and looked again after about an hour.
The second picture is after one hour. Could this be a positive or is it most likely to be an evaporation line?
Thank you for any comments.

You're really supposed to ignore anything that comes up after the timeframe: even negative tests can develop a line if you leave them, hence having a timeframe at all.

That's not to say you're out though: the transfer was only 4 days ago right? That's still super early to be testing, and I don't think I'd expect a positive for at least a few more days.

Xx

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 I honestly don't know what to make of a late line but you definitely aren't out. Try to give it another 48 hours and go again. Sending loads of luck and positivity your way....from one ivfer to another ❤️ xx

I had three IVF cycles so I totally get how tough this wait is. Was it a 5 day transfer? It could well be a very early positive. These tests aren’t the greatest. Super drug early detection ones are pretty reliable.as are first response.

It was a 6 day transfer and was my only embryo (5BA). Thank you for your kind words.

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 did you retest? Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I have a blood test at the clinic on Monday so think I am going to hold off until then (although this seems very early). The above test was my last one, and I am going to avoid going to the shop! I will update this thread when I get the results.

All the best @Coffeechocolatebooks123!

I think I can see something in your first picture!

This was my test 5 days past transfer. Barely there, very light. Currently 30 weeks 😁🤞🤞

It's definitely not too early to test positive if you had a blastocyst transfer.

Oh how much I dislike it when people on here come to give advice without having any actual background knowledge.

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 you are more disciplined than me! I tested like a maniac. It seems like reason to be cautiously hopeful in my experience but only time will tell. Wishing you lots of luck for Monday!

You need a first response as they are really sensitive and not a cheapy. I used them for both my IVF pregnancies.

Thank you, I am now too scared to test 😭😭

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 the whole thing is terrifying...leave it until tomorrow if you think that's best...there's no right or wrong. I was convinced my first transfer worked (it didnt) and that the second didnt (it did). Your thoughts and actions wont influence.the outcome so don't worry about jinxing anything xx

I am sure it is fine! Just they give you a lovely, definite line than the cheapies that make you squint. I got a decent line on one at 7 days. I wasn't intending to panic you.
