Hi Everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone here have been in similar situation. Firstly, thank you for reading!

I've had a miscarriage with a D&C on the 9th of July, due to a suspected partial molar pregnancy. The tissues have been sent off for analyses. The day before the surgery, HCG level was 38800 (at 7 weeks pregnant, so pretty normal).

I've been doing daily urine HCG tests to keep an eye on the reverse progression, and although the lines were getting fainter every day, 3 and 4 weeks post surgery I've still had faint lines (even after my first period). My local Early Pregnancy Unit has done a blood tests on the 6th of August, my HCG at that point was down to 17. A week later I've had a scan too, and everything looked good, no remaining tissue.

I've since had another period, and my tests are now negative.

This week though (after 9 weeks of waiting!!!), I've finally received the report from the tissue analyses, which has confirmed a complete molar, not partial. I was a bit shocked, as I just accepted the idea of a partial one (or maybe not being a molar at all). I will be referred to a clinic to do further tests.

If anyone here have had a molar will know that it is advised to wait a few months before getting pregnant, but despite the advice, we've started trying again. I felt confident, because I believed it was "only" a partial mole, and my HCG levels went back to 0, scan was good, etc. Ever since finding out about the complete molar I've been freaking out though!

I'm in the tww currently, and not sue whether I should be excited, hope for a new pregnancy, or hope that I'm not pregnant!!

Anyone have been in similar situation??
