Can your 6 weeks scan be wrong by 6 weeks asking for a friend

Do you mean they could think you're 6 weeks along but actually you're 12? The size difference between a 6 week embryo and 12 week foetus is significant, so unfortunately being 6 weeks behind would suggest the pregnancy wasn't developing properly

No.

I assume because you’ve said 6 week scan that a 6 week scan has shown they are measuring ahead by 6 weeks so showing 12 weeks? Because you can’t have a 6 week scan and be 0 weeks because 0 weeks pregnant isn’t a thing so you must mean measuring ahead rather than behind. But no the difference between a 6 week embryo and a 12 week embryo is huge. You can’t mistake the difference.
