Heating birthing pool

Thinking ahead here as I'm not due for a good few months yet. So far I'm high risk, so home birth may not go ahead. But IF I get the go ahead, I'd like to have a pool. I had one with my first and it was brilliant. The only problem is we have the tiniest of boilers, so there's no way we'd get enough hot water to fill it up as we can't even fill up a bath tub.

I've been looking into water heaters, but are these even safe? Can you get special heaters specifically for birthing pools? Or would filling the kettle every half an hour or so suffice? I'm just trying to get an idea of how we'd make it work.

A kettle wouldn't be sufficient. Maybe hire an urn and keep topping up the pool from that? It will need topping up as you're using it as the water cools off surprisingly quickly.
