The nub techs Ltd… slightly gutted

Hi! I just wanted to come on here and ask how accurate the nub techs predictions are? I sent my scan (12 weeks 5 days) and was predicted 90% of a boy. I know it sounds bad to say, but I feel a little heartbroken since I was really hoping for a daughter as this would be our last baby💔. I honestly thought it looked like a girl based on the nub and skull theory, but according to the nub techs it’s a boy. 😓 what do you all think?

I'm sorry you're disappointed, I do understand. I sent my pics to them too and would have felt the same if they'd said boy, this is mostly because I lost a little girl two years ago and it was devastating, I wanted a girl so much 🩷 they have said girl this time too but remember, they're not always accurate. Looking at your scan pic, I would personally say boy too. I know you feel this way now but I promise once baby is here you'll forget all of this and just love them so much!! Are you going to get a gender scan? I'm going for mine next week so we will see 😬🩷🩵

I'd say boy too.
We can swap? I'm on my absolute last babe and it's a girl... really hoped for a boy!
(Obviously this is a joke for all those who don't have any sort of humour, although sad she's not a boy, I already love her more than the world. Also dd2 would hunt me down for taking her baby sister away....)

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss 💔 I can’t even imagine how hard that must have been, and I’m so happy to hear the lovely news you’ve had this time, wishing you the smoothest pregnancy and fingers firmly crossed you get exactly what you’re hoping for 🩷🤞
Thank you for understanding how this feels. No one around me really seems to get it. I keep getting labelled as “ungrateful,” which makes it harder. I’ve always dreamt of having a little girl for as long as I can remember, and hearing “boy” again has been a bit heartbreaking. Of course that doesn’t mean I’d love this baby any less, our hearts just don’t work that way. I know I’ll adore this child unconditionally. I think I just need to let myself grieve the idea of a daughter, especially because I don’t know if I’ll ever want to try again unless it was something like IVF.

Sending you all the good vibes for your gender scan next week, please keep me updated! 🩷🩵

Hahaha I’m sure she would, sisters are always so close, it’s such a beautiful bond! Congratulations on your little girl though, that’s so exciting. It really does show that no matter what we hope for, these babies have their own plans and we end up loving them beyond words anyway. 💕
