I guess I'm just anxious so wondered if anybody could advise....

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow

I went to see the midwife last week and had my routine 28 week appointment. Bloods done, urine tested and stomach checked/measured. All came back fine.

All she said was that baby is very low at the moment but unless I'm having contraction type pains, I shouldn't worry. However the past few days my crotch has been super uncomfortable, the only way I can describe it is like ive got a bowling ball down there, it feels heavy and like I say uncomfortable. I've had bad back ache for weeks and weeks now so that's not out of the ordinary, but for the past week or so I've had quite a bit of discharge, yellowy tinge to it. Again Midwife didn't seem phased and said it can be normal to have a lot and there was no sign of infection as she tested my urine.

But I'm just worried about how low baby is and the uncomfortableness that im having 😥

Unfortunately that all sounds very normal. Time stands still in the last few weeks of pregnancy because it's so uncomfortable. Swear it's like that to make you super excited to go into labour just to make it end!

Is this your first baby OP? It is very normal (and uncomfortable!) for baby to be so low at this stage. If the discharge has no odour, I wouldn't be concerned.

Check in with your midwife though if things change.

It sounds normal to me, DS1 was engaged at this stage and I was very uncomfortable. The discharge sounds normal unless it’s very watery/gushing or has blood in it, I used liners to make it more comfortable. Some people carry lower than others too, my second baby is also very low.

Thank you so much 🙏 this is my second baby, however the first time round I didn't have any of these symptoms, almost didn't feel like I was pregnant at all, had nothing to worry about as such. However this second pregnancy has been the complete opposite and im experiencing everything so differently which I think has made me more anxious. 🤦🏼‍♀️

As long as this is normal then that puts my mind more at ease, I was panicking and overthinking that this is a bad sign etc...

Sorry for being so anxious 😟
