I did one of those sneak peek tests, the finger prick one as it’s all I had available in the uk. I followed instructions carefully (well, mainly!)
I was extra careful not to contaminate (given I have a male partner in the house and two male pets)… I disinfected the surface I was using, showered before and washed my hands. Air dried completely! 😂 the only thing I went a bit wrong with was filling the blood too high. Results came in last night as male. I know I should just be happy but I was sooo convinced this baby was a girl!
I’ve read lots online that some people get wrong male results due to contamination. Did any of you get a false male result? And were you as careful as I was? I’m wondering whether to fully trust this. I felt I was careful enough but I guess time will tell!
