not sure if this is under the right topic, too many to choose from!
we’ve finally decided to try for baby 2 and have came off the pill to start ttc.
Immediately after stopping I had my usual withdrawal bleed and then pretty much bang on time my first full period arrived a month later. However, I’m now on day 11 of my period and it keeps stopping and starting- did anybody else experience this in the first months after stopping the pill?

My period was very irregular for the first 6 months after stopping the pill. My gp said they wouldn’t do anything about it as it is a common side effect and they would only investigate it after the 6 month mark. It did settle itself down though nearer to 7 months but it was annoying as it felt like an on and off period. It was either a very short cycle, very long cycle or I’d have a couple days of bleeding, 2 days of nothing and then it would start up again.
