Hi.

My mums bought newborn and 1 month size clothing from m and s for my hospital bag.
Just wondering what size these will fit baby until if anyone has experience with m and s clothes for their baby..I'm a bit worried now as looking at the site it says newborn 7lbs which seems quite small.
I know my ds was 70th centile and he was still swamped in some 0 to 3 but it depends on the brand doesn't it..this baby girl is measuring 20th centile so far on scans.

Thanks x

I only bought up to 1 month from M&S for baby 2 as my first was 9lb 5oz so I guessed my second would be big. He was 8lb 12oz and got a good wear out of up to 1 month

I found M&S quite long in fit, similar to Next although not quite as generous in the width. Kind of long and a bit on the skinny side. My biggest baby was 8lb1 and wore newborn M&S for a bit although not for long, only the first couple of weeks.

Ah that's good, the coming home outfit is newborn size so hopefully shouldn't be a problem. The other newborn Sleepsuits are footless thankfully.
