Any top tips for mastitis?

My friend currently has mastitis. Is it still cabbage as the go to ease it?

I never got to mastitis stage, but I’d often get a blocked duct giving me lots of pain, hard lump etc. I found that if I quickly got a hot water bottle or any type of warm pad and held it on them for a time, then massaged with a Weleda massage oil it really helped. Obviously I don’t know how much pain your friend is in, but found that if I discovered a sore section and felt the lump coming and did this process it quickly dispersed it. The oil seemed to really help. Also, lots of feeding through it (if possible).
