Hi everyone, I had a scan at UCLH today - saw baby measuring 6w2d with heartbeat, all good. But the doctor then checked my ovaries and told me she had to ask the consultants something. It turns out there is something in my right ovary - either a gestation sac or a weird looking corpus luteum so it is possible there is also an ovarian ectopic pregnancy; I have to go back next week to be rescanned. I feel so scared and worried about this because if it is ectopic it will need to be removed and pose a risk to my healthy pregnancy. The doctor said the risk was small but I'm scared everything will go wrong now.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Or advice?
