Should I move job?

Hi all, just found out I am pregnant. Have a 3 month notice period at my current job... and have been interviewing at a few places. Should I accept an offer if I get one ?

My current job is very stressful, long hours, understaffed and little beyond statutory mat pay.

Ive been there 7 years and have thought about leaving almost constantly for the past 2.5. I'm really unhappy with the culture, workload, bosses and tbh I'm bored of doing the same projects every year. Current boss seems to have a personal dislike for me specifically.

I have enough in savings to cover the full mat package that I'd get in my current position. But hubby says its unwise to use savings for this and says moving now means I'd be more vulnerable in the longer term. Help!!!

I guess it depends on whether you’re confident you’ll pass probation in the next place, and what the terms and conditions are like there.

I wouldn’t when you are already pregnant and have a 3 month notice period anyway. Just take maternity leave as soon as you are able

No I wouldn’t move. You might have loads of appointments for scans, midwives etc and who knows how you’ll be feeling in a couple of months. I’d be surprised if you want the stress of finding a new job and settling in and learning everything new when you just want to be winding down to your maternity leave. I would take that early and try to avoid too much stress until then (also it’s not just the maternity pay you’ll get, you’ll accrue holiday pay too and should still get paid bonuses too if you usually get one).
others can advise on whether your employer has to take steps to reduce the stress on you such as changing hours etc
