5w but measuring 5w5d and no fetal pole

Hi ladies, I’m feeling really worried right now. I had an abdominal scan at the EPU to check the pregnancy was in the right place. I was 5w-5w2d (I tracked ovulation by temps) but measured 5w5d. A gestation sac and yolk sac were seen but no fetal pole. I’ve got to go back in 2 weeks to check for a heartbeat. Chat gpt is saying people do see a fetal pole when measuring 5w5d. Should I be worried? Please be honest with me so I can prepare for the worst if necessary

this is really normal and most early scans don’t show a heartbeat until 6-7 weeks! Hope it all goes well for you

This is why scans aren't overly helpful as such an early gestation. At least the pregnancy was in the uterus. Give ut a bit more time, fingers crossed for you. This all sounds very normal though.

I had a scan at 5 weeks 5 days and only saw gestational and yolk sac, no fetal pole. Went back 2 weeks later and saw the heartbeat! I'm now 13 weeks. I'm sure it'll be fine, you was just a bit early
