No!

I can the think of three v slim ladies I know who had the neatest little bumps and they all had 9lb+ babies.

I also know ladies who have had comedically enormous bumps and it’s all just been fluid with very average sized babies.

There are so many factors to consider.

I've been told I have a big bump by strangers but my fundal measurements was 10th percentile with baby on scan at around 50th percentile.
I had a 10th percentile bump by fundal measurements with my daughter but she was a decent weight at birth - 6lb13 at 38+6 which was 60th percentile for my chart. As a child at one point she was 1st percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight so it's possible she always been short but average weight.

My sister had a really big bump and everyone said it was all waters baby was ~8lb7 and at 15 towers over the entire family!

@mamamiaa26 im getting the same. 34+1 weeks, with small fundal measurement but baby weighing just above average at 5lbs. Everyone keeps commenting on how small and 'neat' i am but it doesn't add up

I would say bump size depends much more on your height, body structure, the way your uterus sits, abdominal muscles… I know someone very fit who barely had any bump and baby was totally normal. I am tall with a long torso and had a small bump with my first yet she was massive when born. I would try not to worry.

I was very compact with DC2 who was 9lb 6 and 95th centile head

I was all bump when pregnant but baby was tiny 6lb7oz. I don't think you can tell really because hospital measurements aren't accurate alot of the time.

I had multiple growth scans for both of my babies due to fundal height being off the bottom of the chart as it was so small.. one baby born on 3rd percentile the other born on the 50th 😂
