Whooping cough vaccine with a cold

I am 30 weeks pregnant and due to get whooping cough vaccine today. Last few days I’ve been sneezing like crazy, runny blocked nose etc. felt a bit run down last night slight cough in morning. Think my toddler has passed yet another cold on 😭 I can’t decide whether to postpone my vaccine a few days until Monday to see how this develops. Just a bit worried about having it today and it tipping me over the edge and I feel horrendous.

I had the vaccine in my pregnancy 2 years ago and had zero side effects. However I went into it feeling rested and in good health. I now have a germy toddler sharing their germs!

Any experiences here? Would you delay a few days or go for it today?

If your immune system is already knocked they advise not having the vaccine as it will make you more susceptable to other illness.
I would call the surgery and move it back a week just in case.

Thank you. Spoke to the vaccine nurse and she thought it was best to delay for a few days to see how I am. This is exactly what I have done so will pop along next week for it instead.
