Looking for some reassurance. I'm wanting to try for a baby next year. I'll be 25. The last 6 months or so I've developed symptoms that I believe could be endometriosis. Though dismissed by gyno. Doesn't want to investigate. Ino this can affect fertility but I got more concerned when i started spotting 2 to 3 days before my period. And worked out my luteal phase to be only 11 days most of the time. This gets me really anxious about whether I can conceive and hold onto a pregnancy, my progesterone could be lower.

Any success stories with pregnancies with before period spotting and shorter luteal phase than average. Thanks

I have severe endo and it took me a year to get pregnant. With twins!

Can't help on the endo, I'm sorry you were dismissed maybe try someone else if you can.

My Luteal phase after coming off the pill was about 7 days. I thought I would have issues. But was lucky to fall pregnant within a few months. My implantation bleeding was like my normal period though (which had been very light since coming off the pill). Not sure if this is linked to the short luteal phase but I had most of my normal PMS symptoms so I don't think my body had time to work out it was pregnant before the bleeding. I tested as the cramps were not as bad as normal but it was also 10 dpo. Thought I was having a chemical, but all good. Now 20 weeks.

Good luck!

Had 6-8 day LP when TTC baby number 2. Only took 3 cycles! 11 seems perfectly normal infact they say below 10 is considered short. I didn't cycle track with my first but had short cycles and think I probably had the same issue but conceived first try with them!

My research on short LP said that it actually does not effect fertility in the long run as implantation can be as early as 6 days, you just need the right egg to stick. Good luck 😊

Thanks for your story. It'd the spotting before that worries me because it's a new development. Gyno said i could need progesterone supplements to make luteal phase longer

I spot for 3 days before my period starts with suspected endo (literally every female in my family has it and I have many symptoms but the process of diagnosing isn't worth the faff for me yet) Currently pregnant on my 6th pregnancy with baby number 3. Mc prior not due to hormone levels. And all conceived within a year.

I literally asked the gyno could the spotting be because of the suspected endo instead of a progesterone problem and she said no
