Hello on Thursday last week I found out I’m pregnant with twins there’s two sacs already made a post saying that I’ve got a child with SEN needs
This just adds more to my complications because I have no help and no have family support
I’m considering an abortion because I don’t know if we’re able to cope my partner wants to keep them but I’m not sure I’m worried I’m gonna upset him. I don’t know what to do. I’m six weeks.

Sending you a virtual hug. Sadly no one can give you the answer to this but i think deep down if you do not want them that’s your answer, it will be a hard lifetime commitment and it’s so hard when you have no support.
Hope you are ok x

How much does your partner currently do?
Is he likely to step up more when you have three kids? (And the twins jay also have conditions which require additional support meaning one of you will likely have to be a stay at home parent. That doesn’t seem to end well judging by MN posts, with women being cash starved while their partners spend less ajd less time at home as they are too busy with fun mates etc.

I had a medical abortion five months ago due to a personal reasons and circumstances. It was mainly health reasons to be honest. Pregnancy is really tough for my body. It’s not just a morning sickness that gets me all the other symptoms too that happened to me all in one go dizziness tiredness fainting constant nausea, constant vomiting, you name it I’ve had it But now I’ve accidentally shockingly got pregnant again I went for an ultrasound because I had pains down there, and I was scared. It would be a ectopic pregnancy but it’s not it turns out it’s twins and I don’t really want twins going from one child who’s got additional needs to three is my idea of hell My partner really wants me to have the twins, however I don’t really want to go through that considering pregnancy is really hard on my body I don’t know what to do

Hey,
I did end up terminating due to too many issues I had to consider my 2 living children first if it would effect them which it would it would've also effected me financially and emotionally I felt very upset when I took first pill cried a lot and instant went to distraction and got myself 2 guinea pigs 🤣🤣 I know random but the distraction helped and now I feel okay it'll always be sad but maybe one day down the line in a couple years when have bigger house and bigger car I may decide to have a third or I may decide this is it for me who knows but just got to keep moving forward you kinda just keep living all you can do in hard times my advice make a pros and cons list sadly my cons list was a lot longer so that made the choice for me it is never easy!! How far are you? Have you contacted BPAS or anyone yet? X

Thank you so much for replying. I have the pills from bpas but it is just such a big and rubbish decision to make :(. Financially we would be ok, but mentally not. We have a small support network, eldest has SEN needs and health problems..1 in 4 chance of the babies having the same health condition (which is life limiting) and we wouldnt get the results until 14 or 20 weeks. I think im trying to justify it to myself - it doesnt feel right to keep them and potentially termiate so late on..but god what a hard decision to make. Did you feel releived after your decision? Thank you again x

To be honest I am the type to numb out distract myself I felt sad for a while but you kind of have to remember why you did it looking back it was definitely the correct choice for me... your circumstances are very different my best advice is 1) make a pros and cons list 2) make a list of how you will manage when baby arrives 3) the main one i think I am getting that main issue is if baby is diagnosed and you would have to terminate later down the line .. so I would personally talk to midwives, health visitor, GP your local family hub anyone who can give advice on this and make you feel better if you want to keep the baby and the only fear is potentially getting that diagnosis later on I would most likely keep and take the risk as 1 in 4 is still a good chance they won't and you would never know if didnt try and I would just take it day by day and hope but if there is other reasons not just that then definitely a pros and cons list how you will manage will help massively!
