Is this a false positive?

I did a pregnancy test this morning and it’s a faint positive, I did another test this afternoon and that is negative. Could it be a false positive or too early to catch it later in the day when my hcg isn’t as concentrated? I’ve added an imagine of the test from this morning.

It does look like there is some dye bleed around the control line. I’m afraid this can travel up the test indent and cause a false positive. Be careful not to flood the test, and keep it flat whilst developing, to avoid dye bleed.

@Tiredmum2018 your urine could also be more concentrated by afternoon time. How many dpo are you? You might just have to retest in 2 days time. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi, I’m not sure how many dpo I am because I only stopped taking the pill last morning so I don’t think my body has settled from that but because of the symptoms I’m getting I’m so confused
