Intake of Statins (1st trimester)

Hi dear Mums, I wanted to ask if any of you had an incident like the one my sister's in now...

She had been taking Statins for years, and misses some days..but unfortunately she found out she's 5 weeks pregnant and she's been taking Statins on a daily basis....

Anyone been through this, can you please tell me your experience.. Thank you.

I assume she's already contacted her doctor?

Yeah, she knows and didn't say anything.. I flagged it and when she went to her Endocrinologist ( coz she's got Hypothyroidism) he told her how come your Gyne/Oby haven't said anything about stopping the Statins..it Causes Anomalies..you have to stop it and search for Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist... She's so devastated...

So I wanted to find anyone who had the same issue like her with their previous pregnancy...
