Best veggie/pesc meals and snacks for batch cooking and freezing before baby arrives?

Hi. Our baby is due in a few weeks and we’re going to batch cook and freeze some
meals and snacks in readiness for the first few weeks. I’m starting to make a list of meals and there are a few we have regularly that will work well - e.g. curries and chillies. We eat a mostly veggie diet (say 90%) and occasionally have fish, so open to any veggie or pescatarian suggestions.

We have a new, 50/50 fridge freezer and the freezer section is currently empty - it’s a pretty standard size and we don’t have a bigger freezer (e.g. in the garage, as we don’t have a garage).

I’m interested in getting more ideas from others, and I’m especially interested hearing what your absolute best and snacks meals were if you did this. Could be something really convenient, could be easy to prep or reheat, could just be something really delicious and that you really appreciated in those first few weeks! Also, any advice on how you packaged things - I’ve read about freezer-safe labelling, and am going to have to get my hands on some more Tupperware.

We will be trying to be fairly healthy and keep our energy up (and no doubt just trying to survive!). I feel that snacks are where I could fall into being unhealthy more easily - I did ask ChatGPT and one suggestion was cheese muffins!

Thanks very much in advance for any advice and suggestions.

Also, just to say it doesn’t all have to be healthy - I’m definitely interested in a few more indulgent meals and any freezable treat suggestions!

My list is largely pasta-based!

Curry bases
Pasta bake
Vegetable lasagne
Roast veg pasta sauce
Lentil bolognaise
Lentil tomato and red pepper soup
Vegetable soup
Laksa

I have some oven and freezer-safe Pyrex so I can freeze things like lasagne and they can then go straight into the oven. Things like pasta sauce and curry can just go in normal plastic tubs and defrost during the day or in the microwave. Good luck!

@FigPig Thank you. For some reason, I hadn’t really thought of freezing pasta, and I love lasagne! Laksa sounds amazing and the freezer-safe Pyrex is a really good suggestion.
