Any positive stories of measuring 11 days behind at early pregnancy scan

I'm pretty much resigned to this ending in a MC but hoping for positive stories all the same.

Scan dated baby 6 weeks 2 with a heartbeat present, however my dates are 7 weeks 6 (11 days behind). I'm absolutely convinced on when ovulation occured due to pain I feel, so late ovulation doesn't seem to explain thing.

Symptoms as expected nausea etc.

Thanks x

I booked in for an early scan at 8 weeks and was told I was 6 weeks with a heartbeat. Was very worried like you. I wasn't sure on ovulation date, was sure on LMP being 8+ weeks prior though.
Currently 22 weeks pregnant and things seem fine. Sending very best wishes to you that you will have a similar experience to me.

My DS was behind, I had a scan at 9wks where he would have been conceived after I'd had a positive pregnancy test! He's 11 now and a little bit smaller than his peers but completely healthy and expecting to reach a full adult height, just a little bit slower than most people.

He isn't slow academically or anything, just physical things like losing teeth. The paediatrician said he'll still look young for his age in his 40s and be thrilled then (he gets it from DH, who is 6ft but was tiny until 16 or so, so it isn't a worry).

Weirdly my DD was the other way and kept shaving days off her due date, and came early and has always been 90th percentile for height and is about 2yrs ahead developmentally (like me, who maybe looks older than DH now grr). There are a lot more factors involved in growing than we understand.

Do you have regular cycles or any variation in them? And though you know when you ovulated, do you ovulate day 14? Even slightly irregular cycles and later ovulation can alter your dates.
I am currently 10 weeks and at an early scan that measured 10 days behind, which I couldn't account for. Had a follow up 2 weeks later and that showed only 6 days behind. This lined up with my slightly irregular cycles and ovulating on day 18.
Thinking of you and wishing you well.

Thank you. I had a peak ovulation test when we DTD but didn't check hormone level after that from memory, but I also remember having the usual ovary pain on egg release etc. But really struggling to get to 11 days difference regardless. But maybe the scan is out by a few days like yours, and I'm also out - so the two join up a bit more next time. Thanks for everyone's replies x

I went for a scan at 12 weeks thinking I was roughly 12 weeks ish and was told I was 10 weeks 4 days so had to go back in 2 weeks where I showed I was 12 weeks 4 days. Everything was alright at the scan too no worries.
