Amazon One Step vs First response

Hi,

Just hoping for some advice.

My period is due in a few days, I have pregnancy symptoms. I have tested with Amazon one step tests with FMU and got a few vv faint lines, I don't think these are evap lines as I tested the same batch with water and nothing came up. I've tested with FRER and they have been completey negative the last 2 days with FMU.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm inclined to trust FRER but have always found Amazon tests reliable.

FRERs are normally more sensitive so I wouldn’t get my hopes up yet. If you wait 48 hours and test again you should know for definite. Either the cheap tests will get darker and the FRER will also show up or the lines are just unfortunately evap type lines.
