Ok, so I didn't think I was pregnant at ALL - getting married next week, thought about TTC in a few months... then I woke up three nights in a row covered in sweat (TMI?) and with this WEIRD sense of activity in my tummy area. Had afternoon naps all weekend, couldn't manage more than a glass of wine and just KNEW. Test confirmed it on Wednesday. Have freaked myself out looking at the books and remembering all the 'bad' things I've done in the last month (not taking folic acid supplements, fair share of booze, antihistamines...) - so please come compare symptoms and experiences with me!

Hi everyone. Found out on Wednesday that I'm pregnant (4 weeks today) but knew since 2 weeks after my last period! My boobs are always the first sign without a doubt. Slightly scared as I had a mc in February and hope this pregnancy doesn't end up the same way. Have only told dh and mil (haven't told my mum as last time I told her this early she complained that I was like an elephant who is pregnant for 2 years!)
Hoping I get morning sickness as I didn't last time and knew I'd lost it because all the symptoms disappeared. Good luck to everyone

zoerudy · 31/05/2008 17:53

hello everyone

I've 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. Conceived 2 weeks after a m/c in April. Not sure of due date as last period was in March but guessing end of Jan beginning of Feb. Off to Docs on Tuesday.Congratulations to all.

Maxiscool · 08/06/2008 22:28

Hi Everyone,

I just found out today that I was pregnant with baby number two!!! Baby Number 1 is only 7 1/2 months...so it was a huge surprise/shock.

Im about 6 weeks pregnant, going off my last missed period. I have only told hubby so far....gonna keep it to ourselves for a while coz just like RuthMM and LakeLover, my mother tends to look on the negative side of EVERYTHING!!!! She will moan about the cost of two children...I can hear her now.lol

My little boy is getting christened 31st Aug so i'm hoping I won't be showing by then!

Looking forward to the end of Jan/begining of Feb: )

Hi all, I've just found out I'm pregnant with baby number two too. DS1 is 16 months, and MissMitford, I got pregnant with him when engaged too, was very panicked re dress but went up the aisle 11 weeks gone and didn't show in the least. Congratulations as you got married yesterday! Much better than a week or so's time when you'll probably be feeling sick as a dog! I didn't show til 16/17weeks, I think with your first you've got longer with a svelte figure. Seems there are a fair few of us who are pregnant after a miscarriage. I had one in Feb, so don't think I'll relax/believe this til I'm past the point of the last one. Fingers crossed for everyone out there.

Hi.I am 10 weeks pregnant and due date is 4th Jan. I had very mild naseau from week 6 - 9 and now no naseau but still have lost my appetite for all the food I usually enjoy. Cannot stand preparing and cooking or in fact eating meat, chicken or fish at the moment. I have a strong craving for bread, fruit in particular watermelon. Sa wmy first signs of a swollen belly this weekend. Cigarette smoke makes me feel very ill and the thought of having a glass of wine turns my stomach. I hope you all have healthy / happy pregnancies!

Hi everyone
Been a bit cautious about joining the whole pregnancy thread only a week and a half ago was on the miscarriage thread as had a few problems but all seems ok am 7wks+3days and due to go for another scan next tuesday to confirm everything ok last one seen a flicker that they were sure was a heartbeat so still praying all is fine with little bean! My due date should be 25th Jan and feels like a lifetime away especially when getting up at 3am retching and suffering with nausea all day pratically - anyone have any tips to take the edge of it as all i can do is yawn and eat!

Periwink · 10/06/2008 18:06

Teary - aahgh, sorry to hear about the sickness at 3am! Hope the scan on Tuesday oputs your mind at rest.

caspercat · 11/06/2008 13:04

Hi Periwink feeling nausea all day now! Had a slight bit of stained spotting again but trying to stay calm and Tuesday cant come fast enough now!

Periwink · 13/06/2008 15:21

Teary, oh no - hopefully the nausea will pass sooner rather than later. tuesday is not too long to go - let us know the result of the scan. Enjoy the weekend!!!

Mirry71 · 17/06/2008 23:03

Hello everyone
I am very cautious about even typing this, after 2.5 years of trying, I appear to be five weeks pregnant ....so excited but can't believe it/don't believe it. Only tested today when was 4 days late. No symptoms, so nervous, and rather too scared to ring up GP. When does everyone usually do that? I am hopeless. Never ever had a positive test before so really unchartered territory

elkiedee · 17/06/2008 23:20

Hi Mirry, both times I've just made an appointment with my GP and told her why when I got there. I'd suggest that you try to get an appt as soon as you can, I had appts at 6 and nearly 7 weeks, but that was about when I got positive test results, if you know that now then go ahead.

She talked to me about hospital choices and then booked me into the system, then the hospital has sent me appointment dates for first scan and first midwife appointment, both of which this time (2nd baby) are at 11 weeks.

Good luck.

jamescagney · 23/06/2008 16:37

Congrats Mirry! Don't be frightened, it's lovely. as has been said you'll be treated like a queen at work and at home

babyignoramus · 23/06/2008 20:01

I'm 5 weeks on Thurs - just had my first appt at the doc's today. Have had a few period like pains now and again but no other symptoms yet.....!

MogP · 25/06/2008 17:47

I'm a bit late joining this thread but I've just joined the website - my baby is due around the 21st Jan.

Feeling like utter tripe! I'm working from home as I can't manage the long commute into work, don't think I'll ever be going back at this rate.

Marie

silvermum · 25/06/2008 19:05
