Pregnancy test had faint second line

Hi I am 42 pregnancy test had faint second line but after period came .

Possibly a chemical, or an indent/evap/false positive

How faint was the line? Lots of tests can get a very faint indent / evaporation line which is very easy to mistake for a positive. If your period came then unfortunately you're unlikely to be pregnant
