Are mood swings a miscarriage symptom

I should be 8 weeks pregnant. I had a scan at 7weeks 4 days with an empty sac 20mm (measuring 7weeks)
I know this is pretty decisive and the 2 week wait is a more technicality that actual hope.

Today i am beyond moody and short fused and angry at everything , like PMS on steroids. I was wondering if this could be a sign that my hormones are dropping and preparing to bleed.
Has any one else experienced this?

This will be my fourth miscarriage (3rd in a row) but i dont recall this. But the last few were medically managed before my body started to reject it

I think it's hard to say. Your hormones will be in flux if your levels are dropping, but your mood will also be impacted by the emotions you feel on hearing you're suffering another loss. Anger was a primary feeling that I felt post miscarriage.

In my experience it's hard to predict when your body will naturally process the loss. Have they given you options? I've experienced taking the tablets and having the operation. The operation was under GA but was quick and painless and not much bleeding afterwards. The tablets, I was able to be at home, but was quite painful (like a very heavy period, with lots of cramping and bleeding). Was over relatively quickly though (a few hours). You've just got to pick what feels right for you.

Sorry you're going through this again. Look after yourself.
