2nd trimester

Hey guysss. Just a question when actually is 2nd trimester lol. I’ve seen people say it starts when you turn 13 weeks but then others when you turn 14 weeks. Very confused. I’m not looking for an argument either lol just a genuine question x

My doc told me it was 14 weeks so that’s what I went with and then 3rd started at 28 weeks!

I just found this on the NHS website. So I’m guessing it’s 13 weeks?

Odd! As my midwife said 14 weeks. But it could be that when your 13 weeks 1 day, your in your 14th week of that makes sense?

I just checked on my maternity notes app, badger notes, and it says 13 weeks also x

Ahh ok! Guess it doesnt really matter too much! Im 24 weeks now, feels an age til the 3rd!

I thought I’d know more considering it’s my 3rd baby 😂 my youngest is only 15 months but it seems I’ve forgotten everything already 😂

I always thought it was 1 - 12 weeks first trimester 13 - 27 weeks is second and 28 - 40 is third trimester.
But i could be totally wrong, i guess it depends on what you read and who you listen to!😁
