Would you contact triage or normal?

Second baby but first was induced at term, I never experienced any natural labour signs.

37+5, yesterday morning I had a bloody show followed at midday by contractions. Definitely not just Braxton hicks, they were painful and getting stronger and closer together. By 4pm I took some paracetamol and had a bath, they ramped up even more afterwards. 6pm started becoming unbearable, started arranging childcare for dd1 and transport to hospital and then... Nothing. Everything stopped, normal night sleep. Baby moving fine this morning, a bit of brown snotty discharge still happening but aside from that everything is normal.

Do I need to be checked over or just carry on as normal today?

I'd give triage a call and let them decide whether they want to see you and if they don't at what point they would like to see you

Give triage a call OP. I had the same bloody show, pressure and contractions 6am-11am, stopped and at 2:55pm my waters broke and baby here 3 hours later. I was 37+6. Said baby is now 3 weeks old. Wishing you all the best and a safe delivery for you both 💜

Thank you, I rang up they said sounds like early labor but as it could be anywhere from hours to weeks stay home and relax unless anything concerning happens. Congratulations on your baby @Mumofsoontobe3 💕
