Braxton Hicks?

Hello

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing random tightenings every now and again. They're painless and kind of feel like I've done a mild ab exercise. They mostly happen when I'm on my back and relaxed. Could it be just baby moving (the tightenings feel different, but I do have an anterior placenta so not everything baby does is intense at the moment) or braxton hicks contractions?

Sounds like braxton hicks. I had them with all 3 of my pregnancies from about 20 weeks (I also had an anterior placenta every time!). My stomach would go hard for about 10 seconds or so and then go back to normal. Best to mention to your midwife to be sure though.
